Club members might be interested in an article I recently posted online with the intended audience being police officers.  It is intended to educate police officers about amateur astronomy to keep us all safer at night.  The title of the article is:

"Encountering Amateur Astronomers in the Dark: A Law Enforcement Guide".

My hope is that amateur astronomers can share this link with their local police departments if they like.  The more police officials understand our hobby, the safer we all will be.

Clear skies,

Dennis Kelly
