The NASA NIght Sky Network had a very interesting webinar on Jan. 28 on light pollution and losing the dark sky. There are some interesting websites mentioned and a good breakdown of the problems with the new LED lighting we are starting to see pop up everywhere. I recommend watching it!
I held out till about 6:30 yesterday but we still had thick clouds and it was pretty cold out! I am going to try again this evening to catch the Sun. I am shooting for 6:30pm up on the parking ramp. I
