Our next meeting is October 2nd at 7:00 pm.

Jason Blaschka will give a presentation on the Great Lakes Star Gaze. This annual star party in Gladwin is Michigan's largest amateur Star Party. This year marks the 17th annual GLSG and Jason will discuss the history of the first party as well as show off pictures from this year's event which took place from Sept. 26-29. The event is held at the River Valley RV park in Galdwin with all activities and observing done up "on the hill", with some very dark skies and many folks traveling in from all around Michigan and nearby states. If you have not had a chance to visit the Star Gaze, please try and find the time to make it one year- the telescopes people set up are spectacular and the views you will get are unmatched!
