Abrams Planetarium is having an Artist Reception on Friday Sept. 6, From 5:30-7:30 pm
Come meet local artist Lucy Synk and enjoy her Spacescapes in the planetarium lobby. Refreshments provided. Works will be for sale.
After graduating from Siena Heights College, MI., Lucy has had an eclectic career. She has worked for Hallmark Cards, been a freelance fantasy illustrator, and painted murals for natural history museums. Before moving back to MI, she worked in Chicago as a children’s illustrator for T.S. Shure. She is now exploring new media and techniques and creating new series of paintings.
