Astrophotography Meetup at Fox Park

A group of our volunteers and members of the CAAA are starting a new Astrophotography meeting the first Monday of each month at Fox Park Observatory beginning February 7th. Meetings will start at 7:00 PM. Topics will range from getting started in Astrophotography to the final processing of images and everything in between like equipment, image acquisition, etc. Club members are invited to attend even if you are a newbie and think you might have an interest. Meetings will be held at the observatory and we are working on making these virtual as well. Topics and presentations are really up to the attendees but we will try to theme the first part of the meeting each month. Ideas and suggestions are more than welcome. This is for anybody interested in Astrophotography and Electronic Assisted Astronomy (EAA) regardless of experience or knowledge level.

The meetings are free of charge though there is a donation box for those able and willing (donations are not required nor expected!). We hope to see some of you there!

If this goes over well, we have also discussed a similar meeting for the visual side of the hobby as well.

Feel free to message us here or our coordinator Jason Blaschka (jb.foxpark @ gmail) if you have any questions!
