A new Losmandy G-11 Equatorial Mount was donated to Fox Park Observatory. We have not been able to use the 16 inch scope for quite some time, as the electronics have been fainling and the scope will not slew and track correctly. The 16 inch SCT was removed from the old fork drive and attached to the new mount by means of cutting, welding and drilling and milling various metal plates and tubes to make an adapter to attach to the existing pier. Counterweights and a new counterweight shaft were machined and Jason had to tweak the electronics and get the motor gears all meshed, but we were finally able to "first light" the Scope and mount on May 5.
